Our collective was born in spring 2019, when we met with community groups, activists, and artists to co-devise future projects. So far, our work has focused on awareness raising, co-research and supporting Parc-Extension organizers to advocate for affordable and better living conditions in the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In consultation with community groups, we created the brochure “What you can do to counter the harmful effects of gentrification in Parc-Extension”, a guide for new residents, students, businesses, and community groups. We distributed the brochure at various community events, through our networks. You can download<\/a> it from this site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We are also collecting oral histories of residents in Parc Extension being threatened by evictions, in collaboration with the Comit\u00e9 d’Action de Parc-Extension.
